Opened once after initial install, then crashed, and wont reopen. Waste of money.

I shouldve taken the other commenteers advice. Dont bothewr with this app. its absolute rubbish.

Date format doesnt comply with Canadian requirements. There is no way to adjust.

I have two new HP printers and neither one will print paper as small as 2.75 X 6, normal check size. I can print all sorts of envelopes but not checks. Does not work as advertised.

Save time and checks that you would waste with typos otherwise. It can be a little bit tedious to setup a check but its just an one time task.

Just what I wanted, a simple program allowing me to type the account information into my free checks from the bank. No special paper, no additional cost. I had to tinker with the settings a bit so that my printer typed the information cleanly on my checks but it was a one time adjustment and was done in 10 minutes tops. Love it.

There are no options for entering the check number, bank and routing data, etc. Nor can you date your checks in any fashion other than month, day, year. Youre stuck with color option for bank name (red). So, you are drafting a check that is useless to both you and the payee. (Without bank and routing digits, payment cant be processed.) This is not a check-writing utility. Im not sure what it is.

I have had this app about a month. At first it was great, I entered all of the alignments for my checks and saved them. Next time I needed a check it was way off. I dont have 30 min. everytime I need a check. Needs work

The screen shots for the American Checks are not even an option on the application. Only those first shots with ACME is your ONLY option. MISLEADING

Just wish there were more options for quantity of the check(s) being printed. I am using Quicken Checks which have 3 checks per page and if you print the first it leaves 2 which should feed ok into the printer. When you get to One check it doesnt feed well at all. Wastes a check. Maybe a paper size of 3.5 x 8 inches is needed in landscape mode for printing a single check? With instructions on paper feed before printing. Also if it could be tied into some of the finance programs as a printing option would be great. Overall very good app!! Look forward to more improvements!!!!!

If you used this before, dont upgrade to 1.20. Previous check setups are not broken and have to be redone. Also, now everytime it prints on my printer, it tries to print 3 pages. Hopefully this will get fixed. Also note that entering the measurements is a pain. The way that the numbers are entered does not make sense and is very non-standard, a problem with the previous version also.

I am experiening the same issue. Print tries to print 3-4 pages and previous check line ups are gone. I am not pleased. They need to correct this right away.

This program works as promised, and way better than the other app offered, cheque print. Customer support is available and he WILL respond. PLEASE NOTE: in order for the app to work you need to take measurements of your check. You also have to take into account where the check prints on the page. My recomendation is to print a sample check on regular paper, then hold it behind an unprinted check. Hold the overylaying pages in front of your desk lamp, you will see where the check will print on the page and can make adjustments as needed. It takes time, I spent an hour, 15 sheets of paper, and 2 blank checks getting everything perfect. But after the initial time investment the results are perfect. The only thing I would like from the developer is clearer instructions, especially on how to get the entire check to print where you want on the page.

I went out and bought a check printing program for my windows computer after attempting to make this work for several hours. I printed checks from the new program in less than 2 minutes.

After one hour of trying, I cannot figure out how to include my name, my address, my banks routing number, my account number and a check number on the check. This makes me thanking that the software does support those fields. But It is not a check without those fields in the US. The things, which it supports, are easy to configure (developer is not bad). I am not sure what want to wrong during the development process.

I honestly took a leap of faith with this one. Here is the thing, you need to spend time aligning and configuring your checks for the app to be useful. If you think that this is going to magically start printing checks perfectly the first time around forget it, would will become immensely frustyrated. You are going to need to spend at least about an hour (at least thats how long it took me). After that was smooth sailing all the way. This is one situation where I am glad I did not base my actions on the reviews. This app continues to serve me well.

No way to align check. It is truly a piece of junk.

I can’t imagine how anyone could use this app to print checks. There is no way to include the bank account/routing number at the bottom in the format required by banks.
